Oh my god, my daughter is 9!!! lol I am REALLY getting old. We had a nice family and a few friends for her party, and I hope she enjoyed it. You can see some photos below by clicking on the thumbnails. Happy birthday sweetie, we love you!

Last weekend I surprised the family and took us all to Myrtle Beach for the weekend. The highlight of the trip was finally getting Jen on a roller coaster! lol Enjoy the photos, you can get to them by clicking on the thumbnails below!

It never ceases to amaze me where good ideas come from. It also never stops surprising me where an overall sense of well being will light a fire under me. I wanted a night with my daughter, since it’s been a while since I did that. So, tonight, we saw “Up”; a cute, sometimes sad, sometimes funny, Disney movie. What I wasn’t expecting was the sense of well being it brought me.

It’s felt for a long time now like I have been dragging my feet, not really sure where things were going. The economy sucks, I fear for my career and livelihood on a daily basis, etc etc and so on.  Several things hit me tonight like a ton of bricks. Maybe the stars aligned, maybe it’s because I am about to be 36, who knows how these things happen.

So I am a bit late on getting the airshow photos up. But, frankly, even though it was a good day with the family, we got rained out and the Blue Angels canceled the show due to rain and thunder. But, I did get to browse the old stomping grounds and take some photos of my favorite squadrons! So, click the thumbs below to be taken to the airshow photos.
